Nathan Page returns to the The South Australian Theatre Company (SATC) to play the lead in the award-winning play The 39 Steps. Based on the original novel by John Buchan and Hitchcock’s film of the same name, the play is adapted by Patrick Barlow and directed by Jon Halpin. It will run from 19th August to 11th September this year at the Dunstan Playhouse in Adelaide.
Nathan’s previous work with the SATC has included The Department (1999), directed by Rodney Fisher, and Unidentified Human Remains (1998), directed by Rosalba Clemente.
We are happy to announce that one of Sam McAdam-Cooper’s portraits of Nathan Page has been selected as a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize for 2016. The winner of the prize will be announced when the exhibition opens at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra on March 18th 2016.
Whilst we can’t show the actual image that has been selected, we can share that it is drawn from an ongoing body of work on which Sam and Nathan have been collaborating.
